In a recent article for ‘Irish Architect’ we noted that part of the success of the Vaults’ project was due to the ability of T5 to completely conceal the enormous number of services within the 14,480 sq. ft without a suspended ceiling. This formed the backdrop for the interior design and without T5, this would not have happened. We found T5 to be creative and flexible in their design approach. Nothing was impossible and this project demonstrates their unique skill. We will continue to work with T5, and congratulations on The Vaults which has recently been described as a unique success in bar design.

The project brief set very high standards for the services installations, in terms of operation, but also their required integration within the existing brick and stone vaults. At construction stage, T5 supervised the works, adapting to site circumstances and time pressures, including retrospective impositions due to fire certification, and still achieved a fully integrated system that is virtually invisible two weeks ahead of programme. This level of achievement is not usual, and the seamlessness with which the systems operations were taken over by the client, is testament to T5’s determination to achieve client objectives. With their attitude to this severely challenging project, I have no hesitation in recommending T5 as excellent members within a design and construction team.

Having previously worked with T5 Partnership we know that we can rely on them to offer flexible design solutions as well as the usual requirements of reliable data and technical expertise. Another important quality we found was their ability to consistently meet target dates and deliver project critical information expediently when requested. We look forward to working with them again in the future.

The energy and professionalism of T5 Partnership can be seen in their positive attitude towards their overall design concepts, not only for their specialist field but also for the wider possibilities of the Architectural Design. Their experience and expertise is reflected in their drawings, specifications and in particular their ability to assist in aggressively pursuing the overall project goals with a hands on approach throughout the construction period. They have proved themselves in all areas and we look forward to working alongside them again in the near future.

T5 Partnership have worked with us on our last two major projects, one being the upgrading of our heating system and more recently the replacement of our water tank under the Emergency Grant Scheme. On both occasions, TS Partnership have proven themselves to be excellent Project Managers and Consultants. Stephen, our Consultant/Project manager gave a very personal service, calling to the school on several occasions, was always at the end of the phone for any queries and was always on top of the paperwork. Indeed, he makes this part of the Principal's/Board of Management's work very easy by 'walking' us through the required paperwork. Stephen worked in a quiet, controlled, organised manner and instilled confidence at every stage of his work. As our last project was an emergency which occurred over the Christmas period, TS Partnership, was practically the only company willing to quote for the work and respond to the level of urgency required. T5 Partnership worked hard to ensure that our projects were carried out within the allocated timescale, on budget and that the work is up to standard. This is a must when working in a school environment to ensure the school can continue to function as normal. They ensured that all required standards were met. Where possible in the future, I would always employ this company and I cannot recommend them enough.

T5 Partnership Ltd and Mr. Ray Merrigan were appointed as the consultant engineers in the contracting of electrical services as part of the Department of Education and Skill's Summer Works Scheme in 2016. The project involved a full electrical upgrade, rewiring of the building and an upgrade to our intercom system. From the outset, T5 Partnership was extremely professional and guided me along every step of the process. Mr. Ray Merrigan was a pleasure to work with. He was very professional and thorough and ensured that every step of the journey was clear to me and the Deputy Principal. He had regular meetings with us and provided all paperwork and any necessary details so that we could meet the Department's guidelines and deadlines. Ray was crucial to us getting an uplift in our grant and ensured that the job was completed in time for the beginning of the school year. I cannot speak highly enough of Ray and the staff in the T5 office who ensured the whole process ran smoothly. I would highly recommend them for any project they are qualified to manage and would be more than happy to work with them in the future.

In Summer 2016 our school engaged with the Summer Works Scheme (Heating Upgrade). This was the largest project in which the school had been involved in many years. T5 Partnership was the Consultancy Service responsible for overseeing the entire project. Colin Campbell was the key consultant assigned to this project. It was clear from the outset that Colin had a thorough understanding of the process. He guided us through matters in a clear, efficient and courteous manner. He was readily accessible, anticipating our needs and promptly responding to queries. A large project such as this presents challenges on many fronts -practical, administrative, technical and organisational. Colin and T5 ensured that the process ran smoothly across the board. Joanne's back­up from the office was also very helpful. l would be very happy to recommend T5 to other schools.
